Hi Suzanne! I hope all is well with you! I just wanted to send you a quick note on my sweet Charles. I just love him. He has the silliest personality and he makes me so happy. He and Viggo are still best buds and I find them snoozing together frequently.
We bought a new house a few months ago so they have tons of room for them to run and play now. Charlie isn’t allowed outside but he loves to watch the birdies from the patio door.
I wish I could get 10 cats from you. Charlie likes to sleep in the crook of my neck. Chris is allergic so unfortunately cats aren’t allowed in the bedroom at night. But, sometimes he forgets to close the door and Charlie always finds his way in. 🙂 He usually misjudges how close he is to me, and he’ll plop down on my face. Chris always notices when Charlie is in there because his purring keeps him awake!
We will be in Arkansas again this June and are looking forward to it (Beaver Lake area). If you have any cats that you are desperately trying to get rid of, let me know. 🙂
Carla (and Chris)
What can I say about this little purring fuzzball? So adorable and seemed to have no trouble adjusting to our home. I have to admit I did sleep with him the first night…so afraid he was going to be lonely?! I woke up at one point and he had edged his way along so his head was touching my arm..soooo cute!
We have just started introducing him to our Parsons Jack Russell who is 4 yr old…taking it very carefully. Spencer was used to are other old cats ( a stray who passed away at 18 about a yr ago and of course Gizmo our 19 yr old scottish fold who we lost about 6 mon ago). They would just give him a good swat and he would just not mess with them…they were all best of friends. Fritz (just named for sure today because of his spunky character) looks a lot like a bunny right now and so we are taking it slowly. I know that shortly they will be fine.
I can not thank you enough for raising with care such beautiful folds! They are truly a special breed!
- the flight seemed fine…he was a little frightened & lethargic at first but quickly perked up…the handlers at the airport were very nice.
Will send pics as soon as he stays still!!
Here’s an updated photo of Edgar hunting a gnat!
We’ve been enjoying Edgar getting bigger, and in a couple months he’ll be off kitten food. We think he’ll be really happy about that because he loved his tuna and chicken treats 🙂
His favorite toys are oldies but goodies! He likes fuzzy mice attached to a string and loves his stinky shoe lace! He’s finally become more vocal around dinner time and he has the cutest frustrated half grunt half meow when he wants us to play with him.
Any time we leave the house we immediately miss him and just want to go back home.
Hope you have been doing well!
