CHARLIE
Hi Suzanne! Here are a few photos
of Charlie taken recently around the
house. He is so cute and playful;
we are really having a lot of fun
with him. He loves being outdoors
and even went out in the rain
several times last week! He likes
playing with water in the sink and
bathtub too. His favorite toys are
a wastebasket that he gets in and
rolls around in, or pushes his
mousies around in...and a big box
which is shallow enough for him to
jump in and out of easily, but his
all-time best toy is still the
shoestring he was given on his first
day with us!
I must be becoming a cat person
suddenly because I am really drawn
to your new folded ear male that you
put a picture of on the website
recently. He's so cute-- I'm sure a
lot of people will be interested in
him. Will you tell me something
about his personality? The things
you told me about Charlie were right
on the mark....likes to be
underfoot; doesn't like to be held,
etc. Still really enjoys his Fancy
Feast!

Also, since I've not really been
a cat person for that long, what is
the theory about having two? We are
happy with Charlie by himself, but
is he happy by himself? Would he
like a friend or would he be mad
about it? What is your thought on
having two males together...is it
better to have the same sex or
different?
It seems to me that "soon" would
be a good time to get another kitty
if we are going to do it at
all...the house is "kitten proofed"
and the two of them would both be
eating kitten foods. And my
daughter Megan is living in Memphis
so we could probably arrange another
drive-by...
Let me know your thoughts when
you get a minute.
Thanks!
Barbara
MR. POPO
Hi Suzanne, it's Eli Kershaw. I just
thought you'd like an update:
Mr. Popo is doing great! He's the
sweetest, most socialized cat I (and all
of my friends) have EVER seen. Just the
sweetest thing you could imagine.
He's absolutely wonderful and he makes
us all so happy. I'm fairly certain he
thinks he's a dog though, since he begs
for food and is frankly not graceful at
all, haha. but it just adds to his
lovable character.

He loves cardboard and 7-11 Big
Gulp straws the most.
He sleeps with me and my fiancee
every night at the bottom of the bed.
He has his own little wadded up sheet
that he sleeps on. Here's a picture of
him that I took recently of him lounging
on my keyboard begging for a belly-rub
and another of how he looks now.

Again, I can't thank you enough for this
little ball of fluff that's made our
lives so much brighter.
Eli
