Testimonies 2010 - July
DAISY AND LILY
Here is a picture of
Daisy and Lily watching Mike and Avery
mow the back yard this past weekend.
Yes, we are moving to Pittsburgh!
I wish I had taken little SE19
home with me.
He's so stinking cute. Lily loves
to watch television!

These girls are
getting along just find.
Every day is a new day!
I love my girls!
Thank you Suzanne!!!
GUS, MOE PLUS BROTHER SCOOTER
Hi Doc!!
Gus traveled like a trooper!! No issues
at all. Quite taken with the travel
tent-played, ate, littered, and was ever
observant of me and Vic!
Would you believe it? The older boys
took to Gus within 24 hrs!! It was
like-mom can we keep him??!! Blew me
away!! Gus loves Scooter-and like
wise. Wonder if it's because Gus can
sense that Scooter's not well?? Moe's a
bit 'afraid' of Gus, but as the days
progress, he, Moe, seems more
comfortable around him. Scooter does
'hiss' periodically at Gus, but it's not
with aggression, more like back off I've
had enough of your antics for now!!
Both older boys wait outside the
safe room door when Gus is in there
giving everyone, mom and dad included a
time out!! Gus has been nick named the
'Road Runner' he's constantly running
and maneuvering around the house, he
makes me tired!! Gus is eating,
drinking and relieving himself all fine
and normal. He's truly settled in to
our and his home!!
It was so good to see you again too!
We know he's the 'right' one!! Hope the
other 2 kitty boys you showed us find
wonderful homes soon!
Take care-will keep you updated!

LILY
They napped this
morning and have been chasing other.
Little Lily bounces like a
rabbit....it's so cute.
She finally had her fill of Daisy
messing with her yesterday and popped
her back with her paw.

She has pranced with
her tail held high since.
They both slept with us in our
big bed last night.
My husband is quite smitten with
Miss Lily. How could you not be...just
look into those beautiful eyes!
Thanks again for an
awesome baby!
It was so
nice to meet you today! We love,
love, love Lily! She has already
used the litterbox (1 & 2), and has been
playing.

Daisy
mainly wants to bop her with her paw.
I was able to get home before Tulsa rush
hour!

ZEUS AND LEO
Hi Suzanne,
I thought that I’d give you an update on
the boys.
Zeus
has become such a sweet and friendly guy
(even with all of the drops I had to put
in his eyeJ).
Leo is still the adventurer and is
always looking for something new to
investigate. Leo’s orange stripes
are getting darker by the day and you
can see how beautiful his coloring will
be.
Their favorite toy happens to be
the scratching post which they take
turns climbing up to the top and playing
“king of the scratching post”. Zeus is
funny and has decided that his toys need
to be kept in our family room. If
you take his feather toy (which is on a
long stick) into any other area of the
house, he drags it back into the family
room.
They also enjoy sitting in the
windows and watching all of the birds
outside with the occasional dog or horse
walking by (we back up to open space and
a wild bird refuge).
They are both
very social and like to be wherever we
are and we are so glad to have them.
Thanks,
Jenny
BLAU AND
TIGGER
we hope this email finds you well.
Tigger and Blau are doing great.
They've truly bonded over the course of
this week and we are so happy! We
feel really fortunate to have found you
and enjoyed working with you very
much. Have a good weekend.
Hi, Suzanne,
Sorry for the belated response.
Tigger arrived safely on Friday,
although his flight from Atlanta was
delayed a couple of hours. He came
out of the cage full of energy and ready
to explore his new home. He was so
affectionate and purred all evening.
He ate a lot of moist food and found the
litter box, so he's settling in.
Blau has been taken aback by the new
arrival and is not yet sure what to make
of the little guy. He seems very
interested in Tigger, but at the same
time he is overwhelmed. We hope
that they will bond and that Blau will
be more comfortable not being a single
cat anymore. Tigger is a real
powerhouse with no fear. He's
constantly following one of us around
the home, and he is jumping (or trying
to) on everything. And he's very
very affectionate and mushy.

WILEY
Hi, Suzanne and Todd.
It's past a week with Wiley and we still
love her. She is really smart and
learns quickly. We have kept her
in our bedroom with us. She isn't
fond of sleeping alongside but once in a
while you find her by our feet.
Her favorite sleeping area is a night
stand where she can keep an eye on
everything.
This week we have been home so we have
begun to take her to our first floor and
stay with us downstairs. She has
done her exploration of the floor and
stays near us. We have played with
her and we know what her favorite toys
are. We also introduced her to my
twin niece and nephew who are in third
grade. She was shy but she
eventually came out to play with them.
It has been really hot and one day she
seemed too hot. We slowed down on
the running around and had her drink
water and sit on tile flooring instead
of carpeting. We have had to turn
on the air conditioner but set at about
80 degrees.
She doesn't sit on us but does likes to
rub herself on us and sit at close
proximity. She purrs when we stroke her.
She has a great appetite. We feed
her 1/4 can of Science Diet in the
morning and the evening. Throughout the
evening we give her dry food for the
late night snacking. In the
morning, it isn't empty but it isn't
untouched. During the day we keep
dry food on her plate in case she wants
to snack during the day. My
husband wants to change to IAMS.
He finds it to taste better. :)
What would you say to that? I know
that changing food can cause diarehea.
She is well potty trained and she grooms
herself after every meal privately.
So is the quanity of moist food enough
for a kitten? 1/4 cup in the morning and
another for the evening?
How about bathing? Will we need to
give her a bath or how she grooms
herself is sufficient?
Well here are some pictures of her.
I think she is happy with us. Everyone
thinks she is beautiful and we do too.
Glad that no one saw the gem in her to
ask for her before us.
Hope all is well.
Azucena, Steve and Wiley
Hi,
She made it just fine. She is sooooo
energetic!!! But she is also the most
affectionate kitten I have ever seen.
She runs to me every time she sees me.
Thank you,
Diana
DIMITRI AKA
THEODORE/TEDDY
Thank you.
We decided to call him Theodore,
or Teddy for short.
Neither Madeline or I could say
Dmitri.
He and Sassy are engaged in an
interesting battle of ignoring each
other while sitting on the same sofa.

He is such a love bug
and really has wound his way into our
hearts very quickly.
Thanks again!
Renee
MILO
Hi Suzanne,
It was nice to meet
you the other day. The kitten ("Milo")
is doing great, very friendly and
playful. I can't go anywhere without him
wanting to follow along! He's adjusted
well, eating the hard cat food and using
the litter box like a pro. I couldn't be
happier with him! I can send pictures if
you want, but I don't have any readily
available.
Thanks for
everything,
Preston
CASEY
Hi Suzanne
Casey
is GREAT.
Just a
small question. On her belly, near
her back legs, she has what looks like a
little pouch that hangs down below
her “belly line”. Is this from the
neutering? Do I have to be
concerned that it will become more
pronounced as she grows older? If
I touch it it is clearly just “extra
skin”.
Genetic? Just
curious. We LOVE THIS CAT
Regards
Neal
WILEY
We arrived about 2 to Oklahoma City.
Wiley did quite well on the road. We had
her out for a little while to get to
know us in the hotel. Very quiet now in
her crate.
Thks so much!
BURRITO
Hi Suzanne:
Hope you’re well – crazy heat up
here in CT.Hard to believe but Burrito
turns 3 today – he’s doing well and
still acts like a kitten. I gave all 3 a
bath outside on Sunday. I used a
whole box of Sham Wow towels to dry them
off (they actually work pretty well).
Burrito actually jumped back into
the plastic bathtub after he was
dry…into about 10 inches of water.
He is
really is a terrific cat – albeit as
strange as they come.
