Testimonies 2010 - May
MASI AND JILLI
|
Hi
Suzanne,
I can't
believe
we are
finally
sending
you some
photos
of
little
Masi,
only he
is not
so
little
any more
(7.25
lbs!).
He and
Jilli
are best
buddies.
We can't
tell you
enough
how much
joy he
has
given
us.
His
personality
is just
so
sweet.
Here are
some
photos
of him
and
Jilli.
Joe

As for
Masi, he
is sheer
delight.
I
worried
when we
got the
two Folds
since
we had
only had
one cat
(our
Fold,
Miss
Mandy,
for 19
years). After
getting
Masi
that
first
week and
then
Jilli
from the
other
breeder
the
second
week, I
thought
- what
have we
done?
Are we
crazy?
It was a
rough go
for me
the
first
month or
so, but
I must
tell
you, now
I don't
know
what I
would do
without
either
one of
them.

Your
Masi has
so much
personality
that we
sometimes
call him
"Mr.
Personality".
We also
tease
him that
he is
the
"King",
as he
has his
own
recliner
and sits
on it
like a
King on
his
Throne
(see the
photo). Jilli,
on the
other
hand,
well
let's
just say
that we
sometimes wonder
if Jilli
is
on drugs.
She just
sits
there
and
stares
into
outer
space as
if she
is
"stoned",
plus
she hardly
runs at
all and
when she
does,
she runs
like a
turtle.
In the
beginning,
though,
she was
the
instigator.
Masi was
an angel
and
never
climbed.
Always
stayed
on the
ground.
When
Jilli
arrived
from the
other
breeder,
she
immediately
taught
him how
to
climb.
No
wonder
our house
alarm
keeps
going
off -
they
keep
activating
the
motion
detector
which
sets off
the
alarm!
While
they are
two
totally
different
Folds,
both in
looks
and
personality,
they
have
become
friends.
I
wouldn't
say they
are best
buddies
as Joe
describes,
but they
are
pretty good
friends
at
least.
Even
though
both
have
Folded
ears,
your
Masi
resembles
more of
a
British
Shorthair,
while
Jilli has more
of a
Scottish
Fold
body.
Anyway,
Suzanne,
I cannot
tell you
how
crazy we
are
about
Masi.
He is
just so
full of
life and
personality.
He loves
to climb
up and
just
cradle
in
my neck,
even
when I
am
standing
up.
As I
type
this
e-mail
to you,
he is
sitting
in the
office
chair
with me
behind
my back,
just
lounging
over the
arm of
the
office
chair.
He does
that all
the time
- even
falls
asleep
just
hanging
over the
side of
the
chair.
Coming
home to
the two
of them,
especially
Masi,
each
evening
the past
few
months
has
helped
lift my
spirits
tremendously.
Thanks
again,
Suzanne!
Masi
(also
known
as Masi
Boy and
Masi
Wasi
Doodle)
is truly
one of a
kind!

Suzanne,
We've been meaning to send you photos
and an update on Ceilidh for some time,
and now that she's hit the 6-month-old
mark it's well past due. She is,
frankly, the most marvelous cat
imaginable. Her health has been perfect
and her temperament absolutely
wonderful. She is bold, playful,
feisty, and very affectionate, and as
you can see from the last 3 photos,
utterly unimpressed with her Bengal
brother's superior weight and size. The
two are fast friends.
As she's matured, Ceilidh's coat has
become even more beautiful--her markings
are gorgeous and sharply defined, and
her tail has grown irresponsibly fat and
raccoon-like. All those who have met
her (and she loves meeting people) are
bowled over by her appearance and
personality.
We can't thank you enough for allowing
this incredible kitten into our lives.
She is a complete joy!
Best wishes,
Greg

ROXY
Hi Suzanne my Roxy kitty will be one
year old next Wednesday and she is an
adorable girl, she is full of life and
loves to play. She thinks her big
brother is the cat's meow and has to do
everything that he does it's a joy to
watch them play together he will be
three next Friday. She is more of
a jumper than he is but with some
training I'm able to keep her of the
counters, tables, beds and most of the
furniture. She actually know the
difference between the good stuff in the
formal living room that she is not to
get on and the not so nice stuff in the
den where she loves to sleep. I
need your advice on something about
three weeks ago she started to favor her
right front leg, she will limp on it
when she gets up from sleeping almost
like we would if our leg had gone to
sleep on us. After awhile it seems
to get better, I've looked at her paw
and can't find anything wrong with it
and I've messaged her shoulder and leg
to see if there is any tenderness to it
and she doesn't seem to be sore.
Would you recommend that I take her to
her vet just to make sure that there is
nothing seriously wrong? Looks
like you have a bumper crop of kittens
this year, if you ever need a
recommendation us let me know I'm so
happy with how everything worked
out with Roxy. Hope all is going
well for you looking forward to hearing
from you. Thanks so much Don
CASEY

Hi Suzanne
I was stretched out
the other day and dad decided he wanted
you to see how big I’ve gotten.
(Nobody is quite sure how I got in this
position)
It’s very relaxing
here and I get a lot of love
I hope all is well
with you

STARLA AND LIZA
Hi Suzanne!
I don't know if you got these when I
sent them in March, but I am resending
them again...Liza keeps going on your
website to see if the pictures I
attached of her and Starla are on your
testimonial page!

Starla
is just delish! We have nicknamed her
"sweet face" because she has just
that...a sweet face! She and Cosmo
are great friends, and it is so cute to
see them play together.
Hi Suzanne!
Sorry it has taken me so long to get
these to you! Starla is doing just
fabulously! She is still such a
little snuggle bunny and has the
absolute sweetest disposition! She
and Cosmo are THE best of friends, and
is a great love to Liza who just adores
her! (As do we!!) Thank you so
much again for letting us make our home
her new home! She is truly a
wonderful addition to our family!
I hope you and your family are all well,
and I will keep sending you pictures to
show you how well loved and cared for
she is here! Take care, and I will
talk to you soon!
Jackie

.We lost Rudy (Cairn Terrier) in March.
It was very sad here for a while..but he
was almost 14, and it was his time.
Beau (Bichon) took it pretty hard after
Rudy died, for he and Rudy were
inseparable, but he is acclimating
better..guess it will just take time.

Hope you are well, and thanks again for
sending us such a little joy to join our
family!
Jackie
TIBERIUS
Hello Suzanne!
How are you doing? I'm doing great. I'll
need to send you some pictures of
Tiberius soon, his paws are still big
and sometimes gives him a clumsy
appearance. He is the best kitten I've
ever seen and every morning when my
alarm goes off he jumps on the bed for
his morning petting, i had to set my
alarm 15 minutes earlier cause of him,
but it is well worth it.
Ty made such a huge impression on my
mother that she now would love to have
one of your great folds. I know I've had
a problem with her email myself, it
would always go to the junk box so she
asked me if I could forward her message
to you. She is really interested in a
few of the kittens you might have up and
coming.
I'll be sending a real update soon!
Daniel
VICTORIA AND NATALIE
Hi I thought I would sit done and
send you an up-date. I was just curious
are you a small or large animal Vet. or
both.

Thank you for putting my guys on your
web site.

Now that its warming up out
side, I put there harness on and walk
around the yard and then thy go in the
outdoor run they don't mind it.

Victoria looks like she has
gotten taller, and she will now lay
right next to me on the couch. Natalie
likes to look out our french door in
kitchen and sometimes she will just lay
their in the sun
.
Some pictures are attached.
